Covington, Ind. (CNS) – Lowell Ernest Kiser, 63, a life resident of the Covington community, died at 8:40 pm yesterday (March 28, 1966) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, Ill. He had been ill a year and a patient one day. Born March 29, 1903, in State Line, he was the son of Daniel and Anna Kitchen Kiser. He was married in January 1929 to Thelma McMahoney, who died in March 1945. He had been employed as a meat cutter in Covington and throughout this area for many years. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Doris Hipsher of Covington Route 1, with whom he had been residing lately, and Mrs. Karen Gee of Catlin, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Maxine Gerard of Covington; and four grandchildren. He also was preceded in death by his parents, wife and two sisters. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Hegg Funeral Home. The Rev. Glenn Ray, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. The body is at the funeral home. Friends will be received after 3 pm Wednesday.  - - typed by Barbara B
